Vonage Visual Voicemail™

You'll never look at voicemail the same way again.

You know how sometimes you have to listen to voicemails two or three times in order to write down all the information? Well, now you don't have to listen to those voicemails ever again. Set up Vonage Visual Voicemail™ to transcribe all your voicemails into emails.

After you set up Vonage Visual Voicemail™ you still have the option of listening to the original message whether on your phone or as an audio file sent to your email. Think of all the time and scrap paper you can save with Vonage Visual Voicemail™. Whether you're a busy mum going from shopping to collecting children, or a frequent business traveller going from the airport to the hotel and back again, you can read your voicemails anytime. Save messages as long as you want, or forward them to any email address.

How to set up Vonage Visual Voicemail™

Set up Vonage Visual Voicemail™ easily with Vonage. First, make sure your voicemail is on and Call Forwarding is off. Next:

1. Log on to your Vonage Online Account
2. Click on the "Features" link
3. In "Voicemail Settings," select the line you want Vonage Visual Voicemail for
4. Click on the "Voicemail Email Notification" link
5. Click on the "Enable Vonage Visual Voicemail" button
6. Enter up to 5 email addresses you want to receive notifications on
7. Click on the "Save" button

To turn off Vonage Visual Voicemail™:

1. Log on to your Vonage Online Account
2. Click on the "Features" link
3. In "Voicemail Settings," select the line you don't want Vonage Visual Voicemail for
4. Click on the "Voicemail Email Notification" link
5. Select your new voicemail email notification. To receive your voicemail messages as text and an audio file, click on the "Enable Vonage Visual Voicemail transcription service and audio file (.wav) attachment" button. To receive just the audio file, click on the "Enable Voicemail Attachments" button. To receive basic notifications with the date and time of the call and the caller's phone number, click on the "Enable Voicemail Email Notification" button. To turn off notifications, click on the "Disable Notification" button
6. Click on the "Save" button
