Andy Guest owns eAZe Media, an affiliate management agency based in Hampshire. He explains why Vonage has been vital in expanding his business.
Problem – looking for a reliable business line
Andy used to run the business from a log cabin in his garden but, after hiring several employees when it started to grow, he found he needed a second business line. As a start-up, the traditional phone lines were too expensive, and Skype wasn't an option: "I'd been using Skype for a while but I found it to be too intermittent; the line kept dropping, calls would break up, and I just didn't trust it. For me, Vonage is much more reliable," Andy explains.
Solution – basic line
"Vonage appealed because they don't tie you into a 24 month commitment like the other phone services, so it gave us that flexibility that we needed," Andy continues.
"It's pretty much plug and play. When we started out with Vonage, the customer service team rang up to see if we had everything we needed and then we were good to go – we haven't needed to speak to them since."
Results – a phone line he can rely on
Andy recommends Vonage to clients and friends all the time. "It's cost-effective, completely reliable and flexible – I could move office and just take my number with me.
"Significantly, Vonage has been a huge help while we've grown our business. We've more than doubled our client base from five to 14 advertisers in the last six months, and this simply wouldn't have been possible without the use of a reliable business phone line."
